Over the last several years, numbers have played a large role in books on business theory and personal development. We had the Total Quality Management theory based on Deming’s FOURTEEN points. Then Covey’s SEVEN HABITS for success in just about anything. Now the rage is the statistical method for ensuring production quality--SIX SIGMA.
